Kathleen E. Moore, Ph.D. has more than 20 years experience in forest research, including over 16 years researching the interaction of forests and other biological systems with the atmosphere. She has academic degrees in forest biology, plant pathology and atmospheric science. Her field experience has spanned North America and tropical regions. She is author and co-author of many scientific articles and has been an associate editor of the Southern Journal of Applied Forestry. Dr. Moore has received grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, DOE and other agencies. In addition to operating Integrated Environmental Data, Dr. Moore is an adjunct faculty member at Hudson Valley Community College. She is a member of the Society of American Foresters, the American Meteorological Society, the American Wind Energy Association, and the American Geophysical Union.

Loren Pruskowski is a co-founder and owner/operator of Sustainable Energy Developments, Inc, where he manages company finances and is the Director of Community Wind Operations. Loren is currently consulting to the development of utility scale-wind projects, developing distributed wind generation projects, and developing a corporate capital structure to realize SED's vision. Some of Loren's project oriented responsibilities include assessing the viability of decentralized wind projects and communicating to project stakeholders the technical, political, environmental, social and economic issues associated with wind energy projects. Prior to the formation of SED, Loren worked at AWS Scientific, currently known as AWSTruewind, an Albany based meteorological and wind energy-consulting firm.

Sandy Gordon has represented the 39th District as an Albany County Legislator since 1996. His district is comprised of the Towns of Berne, Knox and Rensselaerville. An active farmer, Sandy is a strong advocate for the concerns of the rural Hilltown areas he represents.

Dan Capuano has been a member of the biology faculty at Hudson Valley Community College for 16 years specializing in areas of ecology and environmental science. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Albany in the Department of Biology’s Ecology, Evolution and Behavior Program (EEB). His area of study is forest communities.
